Role: Manual Test Engineer (LOS/LMS)
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra (On-Site)
Start Date: Immediate (within 30 days of offer acceptance, subject to notice period)
Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 – ₹12,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills (industry-standard for Mumbai, inclusive of benefits)

Responsibilities
As a Manual Test Engineer specializing in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS), you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance process, ensuring our financial software solutions are robust and reliable. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing detailed test cases based on Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) for LOS/LMS platforms.
- Identifying functional and integration test scenarios to validate loan lifecycle processes, from origination to servicing.
- Logging, tracking, and monitoring defects using established test/defect management processes.
- Preparing comprehensive test execution and defect reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product managers to align testing with project goals.
- Ensuring adherence to Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and contributing to process improvements.
- Validating loan domain products to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in software testing and a passion for the loan domain. Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing.
- Proven expertise in testing Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills, with a knack for spotting defects others might miss.
Required Skills
To excel in this role, you’ll need the following skills:
- Deep knowledge of testing fundamentals, test processes, and strategies.
- Familiarity with the loan lifecycle and loan domain products.
- Ability to create test cases from scenarios or SRS documents.
- Proficiency in executing test cases and managing defects through tools like JIRA or similar.
- Strong analytical skills to identify functional and integration test scenarios.
- Effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills
