Role Overview
As a QA Engineer at Omnify, you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance efforts, ensuring our platform is robust, reliable, and ready to delight users. You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment, partnering with developers, product managers, and QA leads to maintain the highest standards of software quality. This full-time role is based in our Bengaluru office, with an immediate start date and a competitive salary based on your experience.
Your day-to-day will involve debugging client-reported issues, designing and executing test cases, and contributing to our automation efforts using tools like Selenium or Cypress. If you love solving puzzles, thrive in fast-paced settings, and want to make a tangible impact, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients daily, ensuring quick resolutions.
- Collaborate with QA leads to design, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases and plans.
- Perform manual testing for functional, regression, and integration scenarios to ensure flawless performance.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and verify they’re met.
- Assist in automating test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to test documentation and QA reporting, maintaining clear and actionable records.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a QA or testing role, ideally in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and the SDLC/STLC processes.
- Basic knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
