As an Automation Test Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to ensure bug-free, high-performing applications. Based in our Mira Road office, you’ll work Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with 3–6 years of experience who loves tackling complex testing challenges with Python and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver to ensure robust testing of web applications.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and validate that applications meet stringent quality standards.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
Implement and optimize continuous integration (CI) pipelines with tools like Jenkins for seamless test execution and reporting.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define testing requirements and improve processes.
Validate data integrity by writing SQL queries to interact with databases.
Stay updated on the latest automation tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with a focus on Python and Selenium WebDriver.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality test automation for web applications.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with test-driven development (TDD).

Required Skills

Proficiency in Python and experience with testing frameworks like pytest or unittest.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for automating web application testing.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing test scripts.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for integrating automated tests.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Rest Assured for API testing.
Ability to write SQL queries for database validation.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative team dynamics.

Desirable Skills

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker for test environment setup.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with additional testing frameworks like Robot Framework or Cucumber.
