Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing to make tech magic happen:
- Analyze functional and technical requirements for Oracle CC&B modules like Customer Information, Billing, Payments, and Meter Management.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans to ensure system reliability.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, and performance testing.
- Validate data flows between CC&B modules and integrated systems, ensuring accuracy.
- Create and manage test data for diverse scenarios to mimic real-world use cases.
- Log defects in tools like JIRA, track them to resolution, and collaborate with developers.
- Join agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives—to keep projects on track.
- Contribute to test automation strategies using tools like Selenium or HP ALM.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and provide insights for go/no-go decisions.
- Ensure all testing aligns with Accenture’s high standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the table. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on testing experience with Oracle CC&B implementations or upgrades.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Oracle CC&B modules (Customer Information, Billing, Payments, Meter Management).
- Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Strong SQL skills for database validation using Oracle DB.
- Experience with test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST) and tools like SoapUI or Postman.
- Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. You should thrive in agile/scrum settings and be comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
