What You’ll Do
As a Test Engineer (Automation) at BizAcuity, you’ll be the guardian of our software quality, crafting automated tests that keep our applications flawless. You’ll work closely with developers, QA experts, and product teams to ensure our data-driven solutions meet the highest standards. Your days will be filled with exciting challenges, from writing test scripts to analyzing results, all while contributing to our mission of empowering enterprises with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG to validate web apps, APIs, and mobile platforms.
- Design smart, reusable test cases that catch issues early and keep our products rock-solid.
- Team up with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create airtight test plans.
- Track down bugs, log them in our tracking system, and follow through to resolution.
- Run regression tests to ensure updates don’t break existing functionality.
- Analyze test results, dig into failures, and share clear, actionable reports with the team.
- Enhance our automation frameworks to make them faster, scalable, and reliable.
- Review code to maintain high automation standards and share ideas for better QA practices.
- Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth, high-quality releases.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who loves solving puzzles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering top-notch software. You’re a team player with a knack for detail and a passion for automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes.
- Comfortable testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Great communication skills to collaborate across teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
While not required, these skills will make you stand out:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
