Responsibilities

As a Manual Test Engineer at Cashapona, you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance process, ensuring our software meets the highest standards. Your day-to-day will involve:

Designing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for various software applications, from web to mobile platforms.
Performing thorough regression testing to ensure resolved bugs don’t resurface.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless, high-quality software releases.
Providing clear, actionable feedback on testing results, including detailed steps to reproduce defects.
Ensuring software aligns with requirements and specifications through functional, usability, and performance testing.
Participating in requirement and design review meetings to offer insights on testability and quality.
Maintaining and updating comprehensive documentation for testing procedures and results.

Qualification Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who bring both technical expertise and a passion for quality. You’ll need:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
Proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Required Skills

Software Testing: Proficiency in manual testing, API testing, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing.
Tools: Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
Languages: Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
