Your Role and Responsibilities
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice is all about turning data into actionable insights, and as a Consultant in our Engineering – EAD – QE team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our solutions. Based in Mumbai’s vibrant Sewri area, you’ll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with clients and teams to deliver flawless software. Your Responsibilities
- Craft and execute test cases for web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing in an agile delivery model.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, focusing on test design, execution, and debugging to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Leverage your knowledge of QA methodologies and test management tools to maintain high standards of quality.
- Analyze test failures, dig into root causes, and report defects with precision.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and deliver client-focused solutions.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
To shine in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: B.Tech/BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication.
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in QA testing, with at least two projects as a QA Tester.
- Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Proficiency in test planning and writing test scripts.
- Experience with software QA methodologies and test management tools.
- Hands-on experience in agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot test failures effectively.
- Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

The salary range for this position is ₹8,00,000–₹12,00,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. You’ll work in a hybrid model, splitting your time between Deloitte’s client office in Sewri, Mumbai, and remote work.
