We’re seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. You’ll design automated test procedures, track bugs, and ensure top-notch software quality. Start date: January 6, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize testing activities to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with the design team to establish verification protocols.
- Identify weaknesses and problem areas in software applications.
- Develop and suggest automated test procedures using tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Cucumber.
- Track and investigate software bugs to pinpoint root causes.
- Prepare automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Communicate with QA engineers to implement software solutions.
- Design and install software databases for testing environments.
- Troubleshoot automation software issues and propose solutions.
- Work with system analysts to finalize system procedures.
- Create and execute well-structured test plans and cases.
- Prepare detailed test reports to document findings.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability.
- Review technical specifications and design documents.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics and process outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar IT role.
- Expertise in automation testing tools (Selenium, Katalon Studio, Cucumber).
- Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (white box, black box).
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Cucumber.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
