Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and Windows applications using tools like Selenium for UI and API testing.
- Identify opportunities to refactor automation code to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess applications from an automation perspective and define testing requirements.
- Lead and mentor QA team members in automation best practices, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, working closely with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Provide detailed reporting on automation progress, effectiveness, and results across the IT enterprise.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support RSM’s quality assurance goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
- Proven experience leading project-based teams of testers.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, HP Quality Center, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, and/or VB.NET, including creating functions, control flow logic, and loops.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
- Thorough understanding of QA processes and application testing at various levels (unit, interface, API, UX).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
- High attention to detail and adaptability to shifting priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Experience creating UI and API test scripts with Selenium.
- Knowledge of automated testing for applications hosted in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Strong SQL expertise for complex database testing.
