We’re on the hunt for a skilled Automation Tester to join our Pune office and help us deliver flawless software solutions to our global clients. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit, ensuring robust test coverage for web and mobile applications.
Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, working closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test plans.
Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and provide actionable insights to improve software performance and reliability.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git, streamlining the development and deployment process.
Stay updated on the latest testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies, bringing fresh ideas to enhance our testing processes.
Contribute to test strategy development, ensuring alignment with Agile and SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Java, Selenium, and related tools.
Proven expertise in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitLab, and familiarity with version control systems.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
Strong programming skills in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
Ability to analyze complex systems and identify test scenarios for maximum coverage.

Desirable Skills

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their testing implications.
Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.
Background in testing microservices or containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Certifications in testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or automation tools.
