Key Responsibilities
- Own QA and testing tasks for cloud engineering components, including UI/UX and backend core services.
- Develop and maintain automation and manual testing infrastructure to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design test scenarios, create test plans, and execute automated and manual test cases.
- Build and enhance test frameworks for fully automated testing and reporting.
- Manage testing infrastructure within Jenkins and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and partners to validate product functionality and meet QA acceptance criteria for general availability and monthly releases.
- Identify opportunities to improve testability and code quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automated and manual QA testing.
- Proficiency in writing automated test suites using frameworks such as Jasmine, Protractor, Mocha, Cypress, Jest, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience in UI and API testing.
- Strong understanding of web standards and technologies, including HTTP, REST, and JSON.
Required Skills
- Expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Solid knowledge of API testing and web technologies (REST, JSON).
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests.
- Experience collaborating with UI and backend engineers on feature testing.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for testing infrastructure management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
